If you think guacamole and the Super Bowl go hand in hand, you would be right! According to The Produce News, the number of avocados Americans consume during the Super Bowl rises every year and 2018 is on track for another record breaker. Last year over $50 million was spent on avocados during Super Bowl week.
Retail prices of these Super Bowl traditions vary widely. DFW Living on the Cheap took out all the guesswork and found the best prices on avocados from Dallas-Fort Worth’s major grocery stores.
